Sharon Kay Halfmann

       Sharon Kay Halfmann, age 73, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at The Maples of St. Johns.
       Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, Fowler, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Burial will take place at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fowler, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
       Sharon was born in St. Johns, Michigan on September 8, 1950, the daughter of John Andrew and Margaret Irene (Townsend) Tipton. Sharon graduated from Fulton High School with the class of 1969. She married Kenneth Halfmann on January 20, 1979, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fowler, MI. Kenneth passed away on April 13, 2003.
        Sharon enjoyed traveling, playing cards, watching old TV shows and dining out with friends. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very supportive of her kids' and grandkids' football games and school activities.
        She is survived by her children: Rhonda and Daniel Fisher of Nunica, MI; Andrew and Kimberly Halfmann of St. Johns, MI; Timothy Halfmann of St. Johns, MI; grandchildren: Wendie (Mark) Benedict, Danielle (Aaron) Covert, Katherine Fisher (Ryan Nivison), Nathan, Brianne and Alexander Halfmann, great-grandchildren: Shailey, Max, and Jackie. She is also survived by her sisters: Margaret "Peggy" Caesar, of Perrinton, MI; Linda Tipton of St. Johns, MI; in-laws: Judy Tipton of Coleman, MI; Diane Tipton of Maple Rapids, MI; Alfred Halfmann of Fowler, MI; Robert and Donna Halfmann of Fowler, MI; Ann and Larry Pohl of Portland, MI; Marilyn Halfmann of Fowler, MI, Carol Halfmann of St. Johns, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, siblings: John (Margaret) Tipton, Richard Tipton, Robert Tipton, Gerald (Jackie) Tipton; and in-laws: Dan Caesar, Joyce Halfmann, Charles Halfmann, Marilyn (Donald) Fedewa, and James Halfmann.
