Sharon Kay McDuffee

      Sharon Kay McDuffee, age 82, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Ewing Country Estates, DeWitt, Michigan.
     In following Sharon’s wishes, a cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.
     Sharon was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 21, 1942, the daughter of Martin and Eileen Daly. She graduated from Resurrection Catholic High School, in Lansing, Michigan. Besides the Lansing area, she also lived in Southwest Michigan and Traverse City, Michigan.
     Sharon’s love for the English language was illustrated by her insightful stories and poems, and helping others learn English as a second language.
     Starting as a teen in the 50s, music and dancing always brought her joy as did the celebration of her Irish heritage.
     Sharon is survived by sons: Scott Alan McDuffee, and Mark Lee McDuffee; granddaughters: Kylie Haskins, and Paige McDuffee; her sister Carol (Bill) Narmore, brother-in-law Oscar Case, sisters-in-law: Jane Daly, and Sue Daly; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen (Dick) Krouse, father Martin Daly, and siblings: Eileen Case, Martin Daly, and Kevin Daly.
