Sharon Lee Miller

     Sharon Lee Miller, age 77, of Fowler, MI, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at her home.
     Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fowler, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 27, 2024, with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. Burial will take place at East Plains Cemetery, Lebanon Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 12:00-3:00 P.M. and Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
     Sharon was born in Battle Creek, MI on June 16, 1947, the daughter of Leslie James and Dorothy Arlene (Niswander) Thompson. She graduated from Battle Creek Central. In October of 1966, she met the love of her life, Ronald Miller. The two were married in Battle Creek, MI, on April 15, 1967. Sharon enjoyed farm life. Over the next fifty-seven years, they were blessed with three daughters, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Ron passed away on August 8, 2024.
     Sharon was a lifetime crafter. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. Sharon always had a beautiful garden. She loved to can her produce and share it with friends and family. Over the years, Sharon babysat many neighborhood children and her grandchildren. She was dedicated to her friends, family and her grandchildren. Sharon was a devoted member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church for 44 years where she was also a member of Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School for many years.
     She is survived by her sisters: Pam (Will) Smith; and Jan (John) VanderWall; two daughters: Lisa (David) Warnke; and Sherry (Edward) Barrett; her grandchildren: Ashley (Larry) Grissom, Ryan (Sara) Warnke, Elijah Kress, Sarah (DJ) Cahoon, Brandon (Alora) Warnke, and Samantha (Logan) Robinson; great-grandchildren: Amelia, Alice, Owen, and William; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death her parents, her husband Ron, her mother and father-in-law, Gordon and Betty Miller, her daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Mike Kress, great-grandson Harrison Cahoon, and her brother-in-law, David Miller.
