Sharon F. (Wiggins) Peck

     Sharon F. Peck, age 82, of Ovid, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, Michigan. 

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, Michigan at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home. 

     Sharon was born in San Jose, California on July 6, 1940, the daughter of Wallace and Bessie (Jisa) Wiggins. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1958.  On December 20, 1959 she married Dale Roy Peck, the love of her life, at Bannister United Methodist Church.  They were blessed with 54 years of marriage, prior to his passing on February 4, 2014.

     She worked for the United States Postal Service as a Postmaster Relief. Sharon enjoyed growing her flowers, camping, fishing, snowmobiling and traveling to the casinos. She attended the Bannister United Methodist Church. 

     She is survived by 2 daughters: Linda and Charles Steinert of Wheeler, Michigan; Lisa Peck, and Robert Henneman of Holt, Michigan; two grandchildren: Bryon and Amber Hinterman and Amanda Villanueva, and Jason Quider; five great-grandchildren: Logan, Olivia, Cali, Christopher, and Benjamin. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Dale.
