Sharon Fredrica (Loznak) Reuther

      Sharon Fredrica (Loznak) Reuther, age 84, of St. Louis, MI, formerly of Elsie, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility, Mount Pleasant, MI.
     A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Elsie at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025, with Pastor Phillip Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Henderson, MI at a later date.
     Sharon was born in Elsie, Michigan on July 29, 1940, the daughter of Frank Joe "Fritz" and Vena Irene (Albaugh) Loznak.
     Sharon graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1958. She went on to beauty school at Virginia Ferrell in Detroit and became a license beautician. After school she began her career at a salon in Lansing and later on owned a salon in her homes in both Elsie and DeWitt. She worked in the DeWitt Middle School as a cook and then went to work with Federal Mogul for 10 years. Sharon married George M. Reuther on March 29, 1985, in Roscommon, MI. Sharon loved gardening, sewing, and collecting material. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and learning new recipes. Sharon's family was most important to her and she loved the time spent with them.
     She is survived by her loving husband George M. Reuther; her children: Wayne (Silvia) Thornton, Randy (Lesa) Thornton, and Ronda (Andrew) Nicholson; her grandchildren: Travis, Chelsy, Nikolajs, Alex (Kelly), Austin (Olivia), Brandon, and Britney, great-grandchildren: Aidan, Paisley, Skylar, Cruz, Lily, and Charlotte; one great-great granddaughter: Charlie. She is also survived by her siblings: Renae and Fred Fatura, Terry and Diane Loznak, and Raelene and Richard Easlick; many special nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
