Sharon Kay Romero

     Sharon Kay Romero, age 82, of Ovid, MI, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at Ovid Healthcare Center.
     A cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, MI.
     Sharon was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 25, 1942, the daughter of Raymond E. and Catherine (Minarik) Parker. On June 7, 1958, Sharon married Samuel Romero in St. Johns, Michigan. They enjoyed sixty-one years of marriage prior to his passing on June 3, 2019.
     Sharon enjoyed going to the casino and playing Bingo. She liked drinking coffee all day. She was very generous and would give you the shirt off her back. Sharon was a hard worker who sought to help others whenever possible. She loved people and enjoyed watching the people around her.
     She is survived by her son Sidney (Brenda) Romero of Ovid, MI; five grandchildren: Jillian Morris, Jamian Romero, Sidney (Rebecca) Romero Jr., Michael (Ashley) Clemons, and Jocelyn (Eric Jenkins) Clemons; several great-grandchildren, two sisters: Linda (Rick) Lake, and Laura Johnson; and several cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Samuel Romero Jr., and one brother Edward Parker.
