Sharon Kay Thayer-Crim, age 61, of Perrinton, MI died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Ingham Regional Medical Center, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 1:00 P.M., Mr. Thomas Bradley will officiate. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI.

Sharon was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 26, 1947, the daughter of Frank and Jenny (Vostrizansky) Teets. Sharon resided in the Bannister, Owosso, & Ovid areas before moving to Rainbow Lake in 1995. She graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1965. Sharon married Lawrence H. Crim in 1996 in Ithaca, Michigan. Larry died December 21, 2008. Sharon was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of animals, and shopping for people. She was a generous person and enjoyed giving gifts.

She is survived by her sister Linda and Chet Lockwood of Perrinton, MI, brother Larry and Barb Teets of Houghton Lake, MI, niece Elise Teets, nephews; Larry Teets Jr., Terry Teets, & Randy and Christine Lockwood, MadisonRae & Caden Thomas Lockwood who were like grandbabies to her. She is predeceased by her parents, husband Larry, and daughter Traci Rae Thayer.
