Sharon Waldron

Sharon Lee Waldron, age 75 of Sumner, MI, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

A Graveside Service will be held at Sumner Cemetery, Sumner, MI on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M., followed by a Celebration of Her Life from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the Summer Centennial Park.

Sharon was born in Alma, MI on September 2, 1944, the daughter of Stanley and Jean (Brecht) Baker. Sharon married David Waldron on December 10, 1960, in Vestaburg, MI; God blessed them with 59 years together.

Sharon was a long time member of the East Superior Christian Church in Alma, MI.   At home, she treasured the time spent with her family and loved to cook for family gatherings.  Her family recipes will be carried down for generations.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching swans, and prior to her illness, winters in Florida.

Sharon worked at Gratiot Community Hospital as a purchasing agent for many years.  She then worked for Giles Tire Service as a bookkeeper for 10 years retiring in 2004.

She is survived by her husband David Waldron of Sumner, MI; 2 daughters: Brenda and Jack Zito of Perkins, OK; Julie and Michael Elenbaas of Ithaca, MI; grandchildren: Kraig and Jaime Elenbaas of Naalehu, HI; Sarah Elenbaas of Chicago, IL; Billie and Andrew Josephus of Stillwater, OK; and great grandchildren: Wyatt Elenbaas, Urijah Josephus, Wrenlee Josephus.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Marilyn Kozak, Kathy Moore, Carolyn Baker, twin brother Stanley Baker Jr., and brother Randy Baker.
