Sheila Panik

Sheila Ruth Panik, age 67, of Elsie, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital, Lansing, MI.

Cremation will take place and there will be no services.

Sheila was born in Alma, MI on September 17, 1953, the daughter of Russell and Barbara (Stone) Carrick. On October 1, 2005 she married Bradley Panik at the Henderson Chapel, Henderson, MI.

Sheila retired from Lear Corporation in Elsie and Ithaca after many years of service. She enjoyed gardening and her animals, especially her cats. Sheila and Brad enjoyed camping and road trips to other states. Sheila loved decorating her home for the upcoming season. She had pride for her distant Indian heritage and liked collecting Indian themed decor.

She is survived by her husband Brad Panik of Chapin, MI, mother Barbara Carrick of Mt. Pleasant, MI, sister Sherry and Greg Carlson of California, daughter Michelle Carrick of Ft. Wayne, IN, and special niece Melissa of California.  She was preceded in death by her father Russell and many aunts and uncles.
