Sheila Rae Stites, age 56, of St. Louis, MI died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at Alma Mt. Hope Church on Luce Road on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. Pastor Dale Sherby will officiate.
Sheila was born in Alma, Michigan on July 8, 1953, the daughter of Keith and Mae (Rummer) Marcy. She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1971. She was married to Randy Stites on September 18, 1982. Sheila had spent most of her life in Alma, MI. She served God above all else, was a wholly devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her grandchildren, crafts, reading, sewing, coloring, singing to her family and in her church, and eating microwave popcorn. She sang and assisted at Jesus Coffee House in St. Louis. She was a member of Alma Mt. Hope Church.
She is survived by her husband Randolph Wayne Stites of St. Louis, MI, son Henry Charles McDowell of Gaylord, MI, daughter Jamie Fuentes and Joseph John Losinger of Alma, MI, daughter Christina Marie Briggs of Smithville, TX, daughter Landi Jo and Dennis Keith Marse of St. Louis, MI, son Joseph Isreal and Joanna Audrey Fuentes of St. Louis, MI, son Eric Wayne and Amber Marie Stites of St. Louis, MI, son Stacy Alan and Corina Lorene Stites of Alma, MI, daughter Cindy of Michigan, grandchildren; Scott, Daniel, Jonathon, Madison, and Layla McDowell, Torri Fuentes-Losinger, Bridgete, Amber, Jennifer Scoggins, Christina & John Michael Briggs, Ashley, Trace, and Madison Marse, Willow Fuentes, Adin and Liam Fuentes, Mathew, Haley, Olivia, and Cassidy Stites, Bri Cooper, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Emily, Kiersten, and Noah Stites, and Robert Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents Mae & Keith Marcy, Wanda Worthington, Yvonne Trecy, and a granddaughter Kaitlyn Stites.
