Sheran Onelle Scholtz age 73 of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, at Covenant HealthCare, Saginaw, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at First United Methodist Church, St. Louis, MI on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Terri Bentley officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI. Burial will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI.
Sheran was born in Owensboro, KY on September 18, 1945 the daughter of Earl Carter and Eloise Quick. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw. She married William Beach in 1965; later Sheran married Joseph J. Scholtz on February 14, 1979 at the Wesleyan Church in Alma, MI. Joe passed away on September 2, 2011. Sheran resided most of her life in St. Louis and was a member of the First United Methodist Church St. Louis.
Sheran loved to crochet and sew. She was employed by Alma Elks Lodge #1400 for 17 years. She then worked at WalMart #1422 in Alma until she retired in 2011. She was a past Grand Chief with the Pythian Sisters.
She is survived by her son William Beach II of St. Louis, MI; son Wayne Beach of Midland, MI; daughter Schawn and Roger Krapohl of Breckenridge, MI; daughter-in-law Tammy Warren of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren: Jesseca, Miranda, Keegan, Wayne, Kayleigh, Kelson, Brendan, Elizabeth, Garrett, Kaylee and Jaxon; and brothers: James and Michelle Nugent of Saginaw, MI; Monroe and Lynn Nugent of Shields, MI. Sheran is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sheran was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, of 32 years and her son Jeremy Beach.
