Shirley Ann (Casner) Cline age 81, of Breckenridge, MI, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
Memorial Service will be held at First Church of God, Alma, MI on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Ben Krieder officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
Shirley was born in Port Huron, MI on May 18, 1936, the daughter of Clayton Earl and Lila Pearl (Croton) Casner. She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1954. Shirley resided most of her life in the Alma and Flint areas. She was a member of the First Church of God, Alma, MI.
Shirley will be remembered for her generosity and her love of children. She was very creative and always smart and sassy. Shirley's love for God shaped her life and the lives of those she loved. Her faith and convictions guided and guarded her life. She always had room in her home and heart for people. Shirley was blessed with a sense of humor and a compassionate spirit. Music was her life. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. Shirley's legacy has been passed on through the family of God. Her love for God and others will be cherished by all who knew her.
Shirley is survived by her children: Dianne Faith of Flint; Doreen (Tom) Farrar of Alma; Darrell Cline of Swartz Creek; David Cline of Breckenridge; Dawn (Greg) Moreno of Lexington, KY; and Denise Cline of Breckenridge; 9 grandchildren: Jody Cline, Benjamin Farrar, Bradley Faith, Nathan (Melissa) Farrar, Bryan (Candice) Faith, Stephanie (Anthony) Mills, Ashleigh Cline, Gaige Thompson, and Tristan Cline; 7 great grandchildren: Callie, Chloe, Cade, Colin, Bryson, Kyle, and Kelsey. She is also survived by her siblings: Joyce (Robert) Giles, Barbara (Gerald) St. Cin, Bill (Linda) Casner and Steve (Rosie) Casner; and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Lila (Croton) Casner, husband Robert Cline, husband Arthur Kluge, sister Betty Hall, and son-in-law David Faith.
