Shirley Ann Dietz, age 66, of St. Louis, MI died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Masonic Pathways in Alma, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Alma, MI on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor John Eich will officiate. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Wednesday September 16, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.

Shirley was born in Shepherd, Michigan on January 30, 1943, the daughter of Clarance and Clara (Meyer) Feltman. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1961. Shirley was united in marriage on August 30, 1963 to Gregory Dietz in St. Louis, MI. Shirley enjoyed travel and searching for antiques, but especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her outdoor flower garden, and attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Alma, MI.

She is survived by her husband Greg Dietz of St. Louis, MI, son Steven and Sharon Dietz of Grand Ledge, MI, daughter Teresa and Kevin Laetham of St. Louis, MI, 5 grandchildren; Brandon Laetham, Allison Laetham, Jessica Laetham, Tyler Dietz, and Rebecca Dietz, 2 sisters; Norma and F.D. Allen of Thermopolis, WY, Kathleen and Doug Perry of Harrison, MI, and brother Ron and Carolyn Feltman of St. Louis, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Jim Dugan and Jerry Feltman, and a grandson Travis Dietz.
