Shirley Mills Eichorn age 73 of Ithaca, Michigan passed away on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Schneppa�(TM)s Healthcare Center in St. Louis, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, Michigan. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate with burial taken place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ithaca, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 4-8 P.M.
Shirley was born on July 28, 1934 the daughter of Roth & Ethel (Myers) Mills. She resided most of her life in Ithaca, Michigan. She graduated from Ithaca High School and Central Michigan University with a bachelora�(TM)s degree and later went on to earn her mastera�(TM)s degree. She taught for 32 years and her last 28 years she taught at Breckenridge Public Schools in Breckenridge, Michigan. In those years she mostly taught 6th grade. She was a member of M.E.A., she enjoyed her cats, reading, her family and friends. She also liked playing board games.
She is survived by daughter; Cindy & Edward Watson of Ithaca, Michigan, 2 grandsons; Corey Watson, Jacob Watson, 1 great-grandson Jason Tyler Watson, 1 sister; Bernice & Robert Peltier of East Lansing, Michigan, 1 brother; Max Mills of Ithaca, Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
