Shirley M. Huntoon age70 of Ovid, Michigan, died on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Tuesday, 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, Michigan.
Shirley was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 24, 1934 the daughter of Frederick & Neomi ( Blodgett ) Bredow. On June 2, 1952 she married Lyle Huntoon in New Mexico, she resided most of her life in Ovid & Owosso area. She was affiliated with the German Lutheran faith and she retired from Memorial Healthcare Center from the housekeeping department and she enjoyed camping and truly loved her family.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle Huntoon of Ovid, Michigan, 3 daughters, Julie & Ed Crackel of Owosso, Michigan, Teresa & Jim Borton of Elsie, Michigan, Bonnie & Bob Harper of Owosso, Michigan, 2 sons, Fred & Robin Huntoon of Ovid, Michigan, Lyle & Angie Huntoon of St. Johns, Michigan, 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 sisters & 3 brothers and many nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents 1 sister & 3 brothers. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donora�(TM)s choice.
