Shirley Wiseley

Shirley Margaret Wiseley age 69 of Owosso, MI, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Carson City Hospital, Carson City, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 3:00 P.M., with Pastor David Cokenougher officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., and on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Shirley was born in Jerome, Pennsylvania on January 21, 1948, the daughter of Albert John and Virginia M. (Prato) Dodson. She graduated from Perry High School with the class of 1988.  Shirley married Harold "Gene" Wiseley on April 16, 1986 in Phoenix Arizona.

Shirley was an avid crafter and gardener. She spent most of her life caring for her family and always put others before herself. She was a wonderful cook and worked as a cook for many years at Joe's Truck Stop in Perry, MI.

She is survived by her husband Harold "Gene" Wiseley of Owosso, MI, children; Charles and Mary Gage of Kearneysville, WV, Daniel and Wendy Gage of Oakley, MI, Eddy Gage of Lansing, MI, Dee Anna and Kim "Reg" Bigelow of Hemlock, MI, Darrell and Cheryl Wiseley of Villa Ridge, MO, Tracy Wiseley of Owosso, MI, Kenneth Wiseley (Cindy Glover) of Owosso, MI, Mary Wiseley (Larry Morris) of Durand, MI, sibilings; Ernie and Nina Dodson, Marilynn Houpt, Rita Jones, Tina Dodson (Fred Sconberg), Al (Tony) Dodson, George Dodson, and Marie Robbins. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal father Floyd Ernest Peterson, and her grandson Dustin Balmer-Gage.
