Sonja Plamondon
Sonja "Corky" Goscinski Plamondon joined her grandparents in heaven Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Munson Hospital in Traverse City, Michigan.
She was born March 14, 1947 in St. Johns, the daughter of George and Evon Goscinski of Elsie.
She graduated from Elsie High School in 1965 and Ferris State College in 1969. Her degree was in radiological technology. She worked in the CT scan Dept. at Munson Hospital for 35 years.
She will be missed as a mother, daughter, sister and co-worker. Her contagious smile will be missed by everyone.
She is survived by her two daughters Jennifer (Cody) Loveland of Buckley and Gretchen Plamondon (Brad) of Ann Arbor; her sisters Janice (Jeff) Martin of Middleton, WI and Georgia (Art) Ellwanger of DeWitt; three nephews Joel Martin of Minnesota, Jonathon Martin of Oregon and Lewis Ellwanger of Holt; great nieces and nephew.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, Michigan on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at the St. Cyril's Catholic Church Hall.
