Stanley Grubaugh,Jr

Stanley W. Grubaugh, Jr., age 40, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Born October 24, 1970, in Carson City, MI. The son of Stanley, Sr. and Julie (Kidder) Grubaugh.

Stanley resided most of his life in the Clinton County area. He was a tree cutter and part owner of S&J Logging. He worked all of his life in the forest product industry. He enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing and always finding the largest morel on logging job sites.

Stanley, Jr. is survived by his son Lucas Grubaugh of Elsie, father Stanley, Sr. of St. Johns, brothers Chad (Beverly) Grubaugh and Jason (Andrea) Grubaugh both of St. Johns, grandparents Jack and Carol Kidder of Ashley, numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Julie Grubaugh and grandparents Glenn and Geraldine Grubaugh.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2011, at The Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns, with Pastor Karen Messmer officiating. Burial will follow at Lowe Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. The family was served by The Osgood Funeral Homes.
