Stanley Long

Stanley "Zeke" David Long, the youngest son of Perry "Pat" and Goldie Long's 11 children, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. He will be missed and remembered by many.

Stan served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1963. But Zeke's greatest impact on others was through his lifelong dedication to entertaining audiences small and large. He is credited with introducing many to the love of music and laughter. A long time friend described Zeke as a good musician, but an even better entertainer. He is playing for a larger audience now.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, infant son Stanley Jr., siblings: Alice (Carl) Bard, Helen (Chuck) Wyskowski, Hope Bigelow, Alden (Barb) Long, Jerry (Gail) Long, and Gala Carr; sister-in-law Tody Long and brother-in-law Byron Bard. He is survived by his siblings: Grace Hagen, Pat Long, Shirley Bard, Frankie (Shorty) Baker; children: Sallie Butler, Justin Long, Crystal West, Joshua Long; grandchildren: Christina King, Duane Dangler, Brittney (Steve) Jennings, Gabrielle Dangler; great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Addison; as well as many loving neighbors, friends, and extended family.

His family and friends hope you will join them for a memorial at the barn on September 2nd starting at 1 pm.
