Stella Smith

Stella M. Smith passed away on April 4, 2012, at the age of 86 in Lansing, Michigan. Stella was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan on November 7, 1925, the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy (Edick) Wise. She was a loving wife and worked as a bookkeeper at Total Petroleum. She married Raymond Smith on September 20, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2005.

Stella is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews who brought great joy into her life. Along with her parents and husband, Stella was preceded in death by her sisters, Amy Seavolt and Carolyn Rowley and her brother, Stanley Wise.

Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Osgood Funeral Home 104 East Cass St., St. Johns, Michigan with Pastor Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at the Putman Cemetery in Laingsburg. Her family will receive friends 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
