Stephanie M Marton age 92 of Tampa, Florida formerly of Elsie, Michigan died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at her home in Tampa, Florida.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., Rosary will be prayed Friday Evening at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Stephanie was born in Blairsville, Pennsylvania on July 12, 1915 the daughter of Frank and Betty ( Beno ) Koreni. She resided most of her life in Elsie, Michigan and Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Cosmetology School. Stephanie married John Palembas and Lucas J. Marton. She was a beautician, and she owned and operated a beauty shop in Elsie for many years. Stephanie was formerly a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children; Marcella A. Baese, John T. Palembas, Mary E. Marton, Frances Marton, 11 grandchildren , 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and 6 beloved dogs and 2 cats. She is predeceased by her parents, husbands, & son Paul.

Memorials may be made to Hospice, SPCA, or a charity of the donor's choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
