Stephen Good

Stephen Jay "Steve" Good age 68, of Brant, MI, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor John James officiating.  In Steve's Honor the family requests that everyone dress casually. Burial will take place at Marion Township Cemetery, Marion Springs, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Stephen was born in Owosso, MI on February 2, 1949 the son of Kenneth and Dorathea (Taylor) Good.  He graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1967.  Steve married Irene Lamrouex on September 28, 1967 at Racy Free Methodist Church.

Steve retired from GM and Delphi after 30 years of service in 2000. He was a member of UAW Local 467, and Marion Springs Conservation Club; holding the office of President and Head of the Entertainment Committee for many years.  He enjoyed vacationing with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, racing, watching NASCAR, playing the lottery and bowling.

He is survived by his wife Irene, 2 sons; Steven (Nancy) Good and Terry (Tina) Good, 7 grandchildren; Steven (Melanie), Brooke, Nick (Amanda), Brookelyn, Nate (Abby), Jessica and Stephanie, 3 great grandchildren; Paislee, Bentley and Cameron, siblings; Randy (Rosie), Tom (Dee), Nancy Smith and Sandra Gotham, in-laws; Lewis (Jacqueline) Lamrouex, Marvin (Thanh) Lamrouex, Bill Cooper, Patti Jones, many nieces, nephews, and special cousins; Bill (Irene) Good and Otto (Arloa) Richter.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents, his wife's parents;  Lewis and Gertie Lamrouex, sister-in-law Joyce Cooper, and brothers-in-law; Lloyd Lamrouex, Roy Smith and Dennis Gotham.
