Stephen Schrauben

Stephen J. Schrauben, age 16, passed away on July 4, 2012 in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Stephen was born on December 27, 1995, the son of Gary and Margaret (Bozung) Schrauben. Stephen loved his family and helping people. He loved football, basketball, track, hunting and fishing. He tried never to hurt anyone, but always to help them heal.

Along with his parents, Stephen is survived by his sisters, Emily and Ann and his brother, John and his nephew, Noah and grandfather, William Schrauben. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Beatrice Bozung and Jeanne Schrauben.

Mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. His family will receive friends 3-5 and 7 - 9 P.M. on Friday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 P.M. on Friday. Memorial contributions will be made to a charity of his family's choice.
