Steve Sigafoose

Steve Alan Sigafoose age 65, of Elsie, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Grace Healthcare of Three Rivers.

Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M.  Burial will follow at Union Home Cemetery, Greenbush Township, MI.

Steve was born in Owosso, MI on February 8, 1954, the son of Evert Lawrence and Arlene Joyce (Kieffer) Sigafoose. He attended Ovid-Elsie Public Schools. Steve was a logger for many years.

Steve loved hunting, fishing, bird watching and anything outdoors.  He enjoyed playing cards and throwing darts. Steve liked to watch horror and sci-fi movies.

Steve is survived by his mother Arlene, 3 children: Amy Sigafoose of Owosso, Clint Sigafoose of Owosso and Scott Sigafoose of Bannister; granddaughter Lexy and grandson Lincoln. He is also survived by 3 sisters: Shari Weber, Shelly Sigafoose, and Sandra (Timothy) Anderson. Steve was preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers: Gary Sigafoose and Roger Sigafoose; 2 nephews: Christopher Sigafoose and Matthew Weber, and son Corey Bearden.
