Steven John Czachowrski, age 52, of Lansing, MI passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan in Lansing, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, MI on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery in St. Johns, MI. Visitation will take place on Saturday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Steven was born in Lansing, Michigan on January 12, 1962, the son of John Adam and Joann Barbara (Bunge) Czachowrski. He graduated from Everett High School in Lansing with the class of 1980. Steve was a lifelong resident of Lansing. He was a laborer for many companies including Terra Management, Eyde Company, Parker Hannifin, and worked at home with his father repairing small engines. Steve enjoyed coon hunting and fishing with his father. He loved rollerblading and appreciated many different kinds of music. Steve enjoyed many summers growing up at the family cottage in Crystal, Michigan.
He is survived by his sister Ann Marie Czachowrski of Grand Ledge, MI, aunt Sharon Cutler of Pinckney, MI, uncle Jerry and Jan Bunge of Lewiston, MI, aunt Sue Isaac of Mason, MI, aunt Betty Czachowrski of Sumner, MI, several cousins and friends, and special friend Allen McDaniel of Lansing, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, uncles; Bill and Ed Czachowrski, Will Bunge, John Isaac, Chuck Bohac, and Emil Ujlaky, aunts; Mary Ujlaky, Lottie Bohac, Anne Czachowrski, and Wantina Van Horn.
