Steven Harris

Steven Franklin Harris, age 53, of St. Louis, MI died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Alma, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5-8 PM. at the funeral home.
Steve was born in Alma, Michigan on August 20, 1960, the son of Franklin LeRoy Harris and Janice M. (Abbey) Meihls. He graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1978. He married Donna Davis on February 14, 1997 in Akron, OH. Steve loved golfing, music, and spending time with family and friends. He had previously worked in the oil industry, welding, construction, and most recently truck driving.
He is survived by his wife Donna Harris of St. Louis, MI, mother Janice Meihls of St. Louis, MI, sister Sheryl and Jim Lossing of Grand Rapids, MI, brother Jeffrey Harris of Ypsilanti, MI, 4 nephews; Stephen, Christopher, Jonathan, and Joshua Lossing of Grand Rapids, MI, uncles; Jim Abbey of Alma, MI, John Harris, Scott Croton, Rick Croton, and aunt Karen Quinn. He was preceded in death by his father, uncle Jerry Harris, and grandparents.
