Steven Lowell

Steven C. Lowell, age 53, of Alma, MI died Monday, October 22, 2012 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the service at the St. Louis Church of Christ.

Steven was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 7, 1959, the son of Edward Eugene and Marjorie May Renick. Steve served in the U.S. Marines, and formerly worked for Hush Puppies, Crippen Manufacturing, and QC Screen Company. Steve was a skilled craftsman and mechanic. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.

He is survived by 3 children; Angela and Jim Drummond of Ashley, MI, Sarah and Jim Fabus of Ashley, MI and Steven Lowell and fiancée Kimberly McQuality of Middleville, MI, their mother Toni Lowell of Ashley, MI, 9 grandchildren; Anna, Noah, Aaron, Jimmy, Katie, Logan, Ellie, Myla and Lane, his mother Marge Lowell of St. Louis, MI, brother Chris Lowell of St. Louis, MI, sister Mary and Art Jones of Falmouth, MI, brother Mike and Mary Kay Lowell of Alma, MI, brother David Lowell and Melodie Smith of Pompeii, MI, and several nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his father Edward Lowell and brother Eddie Lowell.
