Susan Lyn Keys

     Susan Lyn Keys, age 69, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing, Michigan.
     A Memorial Service will be held at Delta Presbyterian Church, 6100 W. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with Pastor Ben Rumbaugh officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, Michigan at a later date.
     Susan was born in Lafayette, IN on December 20, 1955, the daughter of Arthur Wallace and Carol June (Plantenga) Canard. She graduated from St. Paul High School, Minneapolis, MN with the Class of 1973. On June 30, 1984 Susan married John "Jack" B. Keys at River Terrace Christian Reformed Church, East Lansing, Michigan. They were blessed with forty years of marriage.
     Susan was a paralegal for Attorneys Jack Davis and J. V. Anderton at the Loomis Law Firm in Lansing for over forty-two years. She worked in taxes and retirement and greatly enjoyed her relationship with many clients, especially Steve Smith.
     Susan enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and friends. They camped all around Michigan, but especially enjoyed Lake Charlevoix. Their travels included Charleston, Seattle, Minneapolis, Tampa, and Kansas City. Her favorite hobbies were reading, sewing, and raising Samoyeds. They were members of Delta Presbyterian Church for over the last decade.
     Susan is survived by her husband Jack, her dog Katie, her sisters: Sheila Canard of Minneapolis, MN, Kelly (Vince) Stashko, of Fenton, MI, and Ginger (Paul) DeVries of Bellflower, CA; nieces and nephews: Eric Stashko, Sean Stashko, Kelsey DeVries, Peter DeVries. She was preceded in death by her parents.
