Susan M. Parsons, age 52, of St. Louis, MI died Friday, December 30th, 2011 at University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor. Funeral Services will be held at Resurrection Life Church in St. Louis, MI on Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.

Susan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 21, 1959, the daughter of Calvin and Maureen (Robinson) Willey. She was a graduate of Port Huron Northern High School with the class of 1977. Sue married Robert Parsons on August 24, 1979 in Yale, MI. She resided most of her adult life in St. Louis, and provided daycare for 17 years to many local children. Sue enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, and treasured spending time with her family & friends. She also enjoyed time on Lake Michigan beaches, and was a faithful member of Resurrection Life Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Parsons of
St. Louis, MI; father, Calvin Willey of Lake Port, MI; 4 children, Mollie and Tom Heine of Lansing, MI; Chad and Carley Parsons of Williamston, MI; Megan and Kevin Packard of Kalamazoo, MI; Benjamin Parsons of St. Louis, MI; 4 brothers, David and Rhonda Willey of Port Huron, MI; Mark and Lezlee Willey of Grand Blanc, MI; Eric and Donna Willey of Mt. Clemens, MI; Tim and Vicki Willey of Romeo, MI; sister, Renee and Brad Morris of Wales, MI; parents in law Larry and Carolyn Parsons; brother in law Mike and Nancy Parsons of St. Louis, MI; sister in law Liz and Bob Solomon of Grand Ledge, MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.
