Tammy Snow

Tammy Lynn Snow age 39 of Owosso, Michigan died April 10, 2008 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Chris Higgins will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Monday, April 14, 2008, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Tammy was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 27, 1968 the daughter of Gary L. and Bonnie J. ( Dennis ) Teeter. She resided most of her life in the Owosso area and graduated from Owosso High School. Tammy worked for General Motors in Lansing for 11 years, where she was a member of United Auto Workers Local #652. She was the Assistant Director for Special Olympics for Area 22, Shiawassee and Saginaw County's. Tammy enjoyed helping with the Special Olympics and spending time with the participants. She also enjoyed water sports, antique shopping and was a NASCAR and football fan. Tammy was a member of First Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children; Ashley Laurae Snow of Perry, Andy Houghtailing of Owosso, Matthew John Houghtailing of Owosso, Ashley Lynn Houghtailing of Owosso, mother Bonnie Waite of Owosso, father Gary (Patricia) Teeter, Sr. of Oklahoma, special companion: Jose Medoza of Owosso, special friend & ex-husband Bryce Snow of Perry, brothers; Gary (Ginger) Teeter, Jr. of Oklahoma, Dennis (Barb Nichols) Teeter of Owosso, grandparents Jake & Katherine Dennis of Owosso, several nieces & nephews:, aunts: Sandra ( Michael) Bushard of Perry, Debra (Pat Tyrell) Varco of Owosso. She is predeceased by her first husband, Robert Houghtailing.

Memorials may be made to in Tammy's name to Special Olympics Area 22 for Shiawassee & Saginaw County. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
