Teresa Edgar

Teresa Rose Edgar, age 65, of St. Louis, MI passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Chaplain Wayne Shidler officiating.  Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 19, 2016 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Teresa was born in Alma, Michigan on December 20, 1950, the daughter of Elmer Ray and Julia Teresa (Raducha) White.  Teresa married Dennis C. Edgar on July 18, 1968 in Ithaca, MI.  He passed away January 7, 1985.

Teresa enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales.  She also enjoyed country music and going to concerts.  Teresa loved cats and kittens.  Above all, she was a mom.  Teresa worked at many factories, starting at Wolverine Shoe Factory and most recently with IAC.  She resided most of her life in St. Louis.

She is survived by son Ron and Terry Edgar, son Jeff Edgar, daughter Suzy Mason, 5 sisters; Shirley and Alton Bartrum, Ruth Burggren, Ruby Rohn, Mary and Jim Riordan, and Betty and Jim Abell, and 2 sisters-in-law; Rose Moorhead and Margaret White.  Teresa is also survived by over 100 nieces and nephews and her special friend Kathy Brady.  Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers; Ray, Charlie and Arthur White, and 2 brothers-in-law; Clyde “Jack” Burggren and Ervin Rohn.
