Terry Marr Sr

Terry Bruce Marr Sr. age 68 of St. Louis, Michigan died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Gratiot Medical Center Alma, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007, from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Terry was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 3, 1939 the son of Cecil and Florence(Williams) Marr Sr. He resided most of his life in St. Louis, MI and graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1958. Terry married Karen Thompson, December 22, 1962 in St. Louis. He retired on April 30, 1995, from Dow Chemical as a crane operator after 30 years of service. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling to Florida, bow hunting, rifle hunting, camping, walking, and fishing with his family. Terry was a past member of St. Louis United Methodist Church and a member of the Moose Lodge #1566 and Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Karen Marr of St. Louis, MI, children; Vicki and Tim Tucker of Florida, Terry and Tiffany Marr, Jr. of St. Louis, MI, Tracy and Tim Schultz of St. Louis, MI, Steven and Danielle Marr of St. Louis, MI, 5 grandchildren Jennifer, Shannon, Joshua, Logan, & Paige, and siblings Richard & Gean Marr of Fresno, CA, Cecil and Jackie Marr of DeWitt, MI, Susie and Bill Gray of Ithaca, MI, and Jim and Phyllis Marr of St. Louis, MI. He is predeceased by parents, three brothers, and six sisters.
Memorials may be made to Gratiot Area Hospice or Leader Dogs for the Blind. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
