Terry Watson

Terry Douglas Watson, 78, of Elsie, MI formerly of Alma, MI, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. The service will be streamed live on the funeral homes Facebook page.  Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held before the service on Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Terry was born in Alma, MI on July 6, 1942, the son of Ford Emery Watson and Wanda Lillian (Vanderbeek) Pratt.

He retired from Lobdell-Emery Company in Alma, MI. In his younger days Terry enjoyed playing pool, riding his motorcycle and going to car shows.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Tigers and NASCAR.  His family was important to him.

He is survived by his son Jeff and Deanette Watson of Ithaca, MI;

2 daughters: Candis Micka of Elsie, MI; Tristen Davis of Alma, MI; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Trudy and Robert Wager of Sumner, MI; Sandy and Tom Brown, of St. Louis, MI. He was predeceased by his parents, and son Tim Davis.
