Terry L. Wooley age 63 of Elsie, Michigan died Monday, October 1, 2007 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Paul Hane will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Terry was born in Cadillac, Michigan on July 24, 1944 the son of Robert D. and Dorrine ( Heisser ) Wooley. He resided most of his life in Elsie area and graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1962. Terry married Nancy Sutliff on March 12, 1966 in Owosso, Michigan. He worked for GTE/Verizon for 38 years as the area manager for the western side of the State of Michigan. Terry enjoyed hunting, golfing, and any outdoor activity. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Terry was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, and he helped run Sports Boosters for 25 years.

He is survived by wife Nancy Wooley of Elsie, MI, 2 sons; Terry & Sheila Wooley of Jonesville, MI, Troy & Kelly Wooley of Corunna, MI, 1 granddaughter Casey, 2 grandsons; Nicholas & Christopher, special nephew Jason & Trista Thompson & daughter Natalie of Perry, MI, 3 brothers; Doug & Carol Wooley of St. Johns, MI, Robin & Karen Wooley of Elsie, MI, Bill Wooley of Elsie, MI, several nieces & nephews, and special cousin Kathy & Ben Gibson of Bay City, MI. He is predeceased by his parents and granddaughter Alicia.

Memorials may be made to Elsie Lions Club. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
