Thelma Vincent

Thelma B. Vincent, age 84, of Corunna, MI passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Avalon Hospice, Flint, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Randy Pouliot will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday April 26, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Thelma was born in Saginaw County, Michigan on May 9, 1925, the daughter of Edward and Bertha (Spencer) Holland. She was a graduate of Chesaning High School. Thelma married Harold Vincent on June 12, 1942 in Otsego, MI. Harold passed away in February 1988.

Thelma retired from Universal Electric in Owosso. She was an avid reader and loved her dog, Carrie. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Corunna.

She is survived by her 2 sons; Clifford and Carol Vincent of Owosso, MI, Richard and Caroll Vincent of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; Curt and Sharon Vincent of Owosso, MI, Craig Vincent of Corunna, MI, great grandchildren; Bo and Cody Vincent, special friend Clayton Cook of Corunna, MI, brother Chuck and Myrtie Holland of Durand, MI, and sister Evelyn Cooley of Vienna, VA. Thelma is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers Arthur, Eddie and Stanley and a sister Dorothy.
