Theodore Perry

Theodore R. "Ted" Perry, age 80, of Ithaca, Michigan, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Charles Krueger officiating. Burial will be at Eureka Cemetery, Eureka, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ted was born in St. Johns, Michigan on January 12, 1932, the son of Ray and Ocie (Miller) Perry. He graduated from Rodney B. High School in St. Johns, Michigan with the class of 1949. On May 10, 1952 he married M. Jean Eisler in St. Johns, Michigan. Ted served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Federal Mogul in St. Johns, Michigan for 31 years retiring in 1986. Ted enjoyed riding his motorcycle, woodworking, and he was an animal lover. He resided most of his live in St. Johns and Ithaca, and he was a member and one of the people who started the Federal Mogul Credit Union.

He is survived by his wife Jean Perry of Ithaca, MI daughter Patricia Ann and Bill Graves of St. Johns, MI, son Steven R. and Paula Perry of Owosso, MI, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, and 2 brothers.
