Theodore Sprague

Theodore T. "Teddy" Sprague, age 65, of Corunna, MI passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor John Walworth will officiate. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Teddy was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 15, 1943, the son of Theodore M. and Ruth Ellen (Crane) Sprague. Teddy resided all of his life in Corunna. He was a true Corunna Cavalier fan. Teddy loved to fish, ride his bike, and watch the kids play hockey on the Shiawassee County Youth Street Hockey League at McCurdy Park. Teddy enjoyed going to parades, the barber shop and the coffee shop to socialize. He was instrumental in starting the arts and crafts at the Shiawassee County Fair this year for the mentally challenged.

He is survived by his father Theodore M. Sprague of Corunna; sister Bobbi and Ed Bruckman of Owosso, niece Lynn and Terry Bishop of Chesaning, nephew Bryan and Lisa Bruckman of Dexter, MI, great nephew Brock Bishop, four great nieces; Bryn Bishop, Jaren Bishop, Antonia Bruckman, Addison Bruckman, and special caregivers Susanne and Jim Brown of Owosso. He was predeceased by his mother Ruth Ellen Sprague in 1974 and his grandparents.
