Theresa Pearl Cornell, age 101, of Corunna, MI passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. and Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Theresa was born in Onekama, Michigan on July 25, 1911, the daughter of Elmer and Cora (Harris) Weir and resided most of her life throughout Mid-Michigan. Theresa was employed by Redmond's of Owosso. She was a member of the Corunna VFW Auxiliary. Theresa loved country music and dancing.

She is survived by 2 granddaughters; Tammy Weeks of Corunna, MI, Angela Loberg of Owosso, MI, grandson George Lloyd III, 3 great-granddaughters; Krystal Weeks of Corunna, MI, Tara Weeks of Corunna, MI, Nikki Loberg of Owosso, MI, 3 great-grandsons; Christopher Loberg of Owosso, MI, Eric Verbeck of Corunna, MI, Harley Weeks of Corunna, MI. great great grandson Kilano Weeks-Jones of Corunna, MI, 2 brothers; James Weir of Nashville, MI, Eldon and Sharon Weir of Lansing, MI, sister-in-law Catherine Weir of Owosso, MI. Theresa is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Eldon Hooker, George Lloyd and Girth "Bill" Cornell, son George Lloyd Jr., sisters; Orcelia Matz, Ruth Morgridge, Lila Lumbert and Martha Pease, and brothers; Sidney Weir and Elmer Weir.
