Theresa Fox

Theresa Eleanor Fox age 92, of Fowler, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Hospice House of Mid Michigan, Lansing, MI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fowler, MI, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:30 A.M., with Rev. Fr. Dennis Howard officiating.  Burial will take place at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fowler, MI.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2-9 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, Fowler, MI with a Rosary being prayed at 6:45 P.M.

Theresa was born in Fowler, MI on October 26, 1925, the daughter of Ignatz and Theresa (Spitzley) Koenigsknecht.  Theresa married Stanley J. Fox on June 29, 1948 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler.  He preceded her in death on January 22, 2012.

Theresa retired from Fisher Autobody.  She loved crafting, quilting, woodworking, sewing and was an avid Michigan State Spartan fan.  After Theresa retired, she and Stanley traveled extensively.  They visited every state in the Union and also traveled overseas.  Spending time with her grandchildren was most important to her.  Theresa was a lifetime member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and she resided all of her life in Fowler.

She is survived by her 4 daughters: Ruth Ann and Gordon Thelen of Fowler, MI; Janet Dorn of Williamston MI; Donna and Alan Yoder of Sturgis, MI; Margaret Fox and Dave Kenyon of Middleville, MI; 2 sons: Steven and Lindsay Fox of Parkton, MD; John Fox and Robert Miller of Norfolk, VA; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 3 step-great grandchildren.  Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law Richard Dorn.
