Theresa Strouse

Theresa E. Strouse, age 74, of Ithaca, Michigan passed away Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel, Ithaca, MI on Tuesday, June 2nd at 11:00 A.M. , Fr. Julius Spleet will officiate. Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery North Star, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed on 5:30 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

Theresa was born in Fowler, Michigan on April 23, 1935, the daughter of Alfred Kloeckner and Pauline (Fedewa) Kloeckner. She graduated from Fowler High School in 1953. Theresa married Vincent Strouse on July 9, 1955 in Fowler, Michigan She was a very giving person to the local charities. Theresa enjoyed flowers, bird watching and her cat Babe. She resided most of her life in North Star Township. Theresa was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Ithaca, MI

She is survived by her husband Vincent Strouse; her children Steven and Paula Strouse of Ashley, MI. Michael and Kathryn Strouse of North Star, MI. Lorraine and (Gregory Nelson) Strouse of Ithaca, MI. Christopher and Deborah Strouse of Ithaca, MI. Alan and Beverly Strouse of St. Johns, MI. Dale and Bobbi Strouse of Springdale, AK. Valerie and Corey Nemeth of Ithaca, MI;28 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; three sisters Maryann and John Stoneman; Carol and Gerald Burgtorf; Arlene and Roy Smith; one brother LeRoy and Jenine Kloeckner; one sister-in-law Joyce Kloeckner; several nieces and nephews; She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers Alvin and Robert, one grandchild Scotty Strouse
