Thomas D. Carr age 49 of Corunna, Michigan died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Jeff Barb Funeral Home, WV on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Eli Hostetler will officiate with burial at Kalar Cemetery, Shavers Fork, West Virginia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 2-8 P.m. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, Corunna, Michigan and on Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 5-8 P.M. at Barb Funeral Home Parsons, West Virginia.

Thomas was born in Barberton, Ohio on August 28, 1958 the son of Lindsey W. and Gertrude ( Hedrick ) Carr. He resided in Corunna, Michigan for 11 years and prior to that he lived in Ohio. He graduated from Parsons High School in West Virginia. Thomas married Pamela Moore on June 25, 1983 in West Virginia. He was an avid baseball and softball fan. He coached baseball and he taught his son and daughter how to play baseball. He loved hunting and he enjoyed golf. His family and friends were most important to him. He gave strength to everyone he touched. He took the family matriarch role and he loved his family farm in Parsons, WV.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Carr of Corunna, MI, son Travis Carr of Texas, daughter: Michelle Carr of Corunna, MI, brother Terry Carr of Ludington, MI, 3 sisters Linda & Charles Canfield of West Virginia, Bonita & Gene Yeager of Ohio, Susan & Jamie Rohr of Ohio, brother Michael Carr of West Viriginia, and several nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, nephew Lindsey Rohr, and nieces; Katie Yeager and Ashley Lipscomb.

Memorials may be made to Corunna High School Baseball Program. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
