Thomas L. "Tom" Crackel, age 73, of Alma, MI passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at Pine River Healthcare Center, St. Louis, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Keith Wise officiating.

Thomas was born in Owosso, Michigan on November 9, 1941, the son of Leo Francis and Carmaleta Marie (Cunningham) Crackel. He graduated from St. Paul's High School with the class of 1959. Tom married Martha Ann (Knauff) Crackel on May 16, 1964 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso, Michigan.

Tom resided most of his life in the Owosso and Alma areas. Tom volunteered at the Masonic home for 14 years, taking people to chapel. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI.

He is survived by his wife Martha Crackel, sister Rita and George Keck, sister in law Julie Crackel, nephew Aaron and Kristin Crackel, niece Brooklyn Marie Crackel, nephew Drew William Crackel, nephew Chase Edward Crackel, sister in law Violet (Clarence) Kearns and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward, brothers in law; James Knauff and John Knauff, nephew Joseph Knauff and niece Janie Pruitt.
