Thyra Palmer

Thyra Susan Palmer, age 65, of Alma, Michigan died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Susan was born in Lansing, Michigan on November 4, 1947, the daughter of Walter and Beatrice (Sleaford) Palmer. She served her country in the US Army. She had resided most of her life in Alma, MI, and worked for Gratiot Community Hospital in the Laboratory for 35 years. She enjoyed American Indian history, and was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Alma, MI.
She is survived by her son Eric and Paula Palmer of Byron Center, MI, grandchildren; Nick, Jason, Erin, Morgan, mother Beatrice Palmer of Alma, MI, sister Erin Harrier, and 3 brothers; Tim, John, Scott Palmer. She was predeceased by her father, and brother Tommy.
