Timothy Knapp

Timothy Mitchell Knapp, age 61, formerly of Lincoln, NE, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020, in Lansing, MI.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Burial will take place at Linwood Cemetery in Au Gres, MI.

Timothy was born in Flint, MI on January 27, 1959, the son of Claude "JR" and Sharon (Hewitt) Knapp.  He graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1977.  Tim married Cathy in Nebraska and they enjoyed 9 years of marriage prior to her death in 2016.

Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an aviation mechanic in the 82nd Airborne Division until his honorable discharge in 1982.

Tim is survived by his daughter Tiffany Reitz, 3 grandchildren: Blaine Brice, Anakah Brice and Lauryn Reitz; 2 brothers: Daniel Knapp, and Patrick (Ann) Knapp; and many nieces and nephews.  Tim was predeceased by his parents, wife Cathy Knapp, 2 brothers: Thomas Knapp and Rick Knapp; and sister-in-law Lisa Knapp.
