Timothy Patrick McNamara, age 51, of Owosso, MI passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Owosso, MI.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 from 5-8 PM and held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
Timothy was born in Owosso, Michigan on February 24, 1959, the son of James C. and Patricia R. (Butcher) McNamara. Tim resided most of his life in Owosso and served his country in the U.S. Army.
Tim was employed by McEwen Trucking of Corunna as an over the road truck driver. His children and grandchildren were the love of his life. Tim enjoyed visiting the casino and spending time on the farm. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Owosso, MI
Tim is survived by his daughter Tonya McNamara and Jerry Ballard, Jr. of Owosso, MI; daughter Angela McNamara of Owosso, MI; son Matthew McNamara of Owosso, MI; grandchildren Caleb and Kyle McNeely, Jakob Knott, Hannah Lindsey, Nathan and Grace Ballard, Alyssa Miller; many nieces, nephews and friends; mother Patricia McNamara of Owosso, MI; brother James and Brenda McNamara, Jr. of Owosso, MI; 4 sisters Monica and Richard Snyder of Owosso, MI; Julie McNamara of Durand, MI; Mary Nell and Martin Krhovsky of Corunna, MI; Maureen and Fredrick Farkas of Saline, MI. He is also survived by the mother of his children Jeanie McNamara of Traverse City, MI.
Tim was preceded in death by his son Jason Patrick McNamara and his father James C. McNamara, Sr.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Shiawassee County Humane Society. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, Michigan.
