Timothy Jon Story "Tim" of Owosso, MI born May 15, 1958 passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the age of 52.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Paul Brashaw will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
Tim worked in the concrete business in Owosso and with his brother in Florida in the aluminum construction business. Tim was very talented at anything he chose to do with his hands. In his teen years he was best known for his skills of racing motorcycles and won numerous trophies. He was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman in his youth. Lately, he created wonderful flower and vegetable gardens that he was so proud of and excited when he shared his bounty. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors experience, especially in the north woods near Roscommon, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. He loved tending to the many campfires and frequently shared stories when reminiscing. Tim never met a stranger that didn't instantly become his friend; it was his true gift in life. He will always be remembered by his big smile and warm greeting for all, he touched many lives in that way.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving mother Eleanor (Ellie) & Jack Kareus of Corunna, MI, his best friend & father Maurice (Mick) & Kathleen (Kae) Story of Edgewater, FL, his devoted siblings; brother Thomas (Tom) Story & Nancy of East Tawas, MI, brother Todd Story & Phyllis of Port Orange, FL, brother Dean Gale & Mona of Ortinville, MI, sister Tiffany Gale-Donaghy of Tampa, FL, sister Heidi Story-Curran & Jacob of Miami, FL. Tim is also survived by special aunts; Beverly Hawkins of Corunna, MI and Oma Frost of Chesaning, MI as well as many nieces, nephews, other aunts, uncles and cousins.
