Tina M. Ward age 48 of Owosso, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Memorial Healthcare Center Owosso, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jerry Waldon will officiate with burial at Yerian Cemetery Shiwawssee County, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Tina was born in Owosso, Michigan on December 11, 1957 the daughter of Robert Gordon Thayer and Janet Yvonne Pennell. She resided most of her life in the Corunna Area and graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1976. Tina was a bus driver for the Corunna Public Schools. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Owosso, Post 9455. She volunteered for the Corunna Athletics in all aspects, and was a volunteer at the Shiawassee County Fair. Tina was an organ donor and will be remembered for her love and kindness and constant concern for others.

She is survived by her 2 daughters; Candice & Charles Osika of Lennon, MI, Brandiss Ward of Owosso, MI, 1 son Brandon Ward of Owosso, MI, mother Janet Thayer & Louis Gulick of Bancroft, MI, father Robert & Jeanne Thayer of Durand, MI, 1 sister Tammy Baumgras of Morrice, MI, 5 brothers; Ricky & Tammy Thayer of Corunna, MI, Randy & Cindy Thayer of Durand, MI, Terry & Milissa Thayer of Durand, MI, Larry & Audrey Thayer of Owosso, MI, Robert & Lorraine Thayer of Corunna, MI, grandmothers Nina Dassance of Bancroft, MI, Winnie Thayer of Owosso, MI, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Tina will be rememberd by her family for her "unconditional love". She is predeceased by her grandfather Donald Dassance.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers, to a scholarship fund that will be established for her childrens college education. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
