Tony Joseph Fabus Jr., age 57, of Elsie, MI passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Lansing, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 11:00 A.M - 1:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Tony was born in St. Johns, Michigan on March 24, 1953, the son of Tony Joseph and Rose (Winkler) Fabus. He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the class of 1971. He resided all of his life in the Elsie area. On August 29, 1980 he married Toni Senrud; they just celebrated their 30th anniversary. He owned and operated Tony's Oil Company in Elsie for many years. Tony enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and tinkering in his garage. He was a member of the NRA and Whitetails Unlimited.
He is survived by his wife Toni Fabus of Elsie, MI, mother Rose Fabus of Elsie, MI, 2 sisters; Rosemary and John Houska of Elsie, MI, Mary Ann and John Davidson of Lansing, MI, 3 brothers; Stephen and Marcia Fabus of Elsie, MI, Michael and Kim Fabus of Elsie, MI, Matthew Fabus of Elsie, MI, his dog, Roscoe and special nephew Michael Fabus Jr. along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Tony Sr.
