Torrance Marie "Tori" Rogers, age 7, of Alma, Michigan passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at University of Michigan Mott's Children's Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Central Michigan Youth for Christ, 2550 W. Cheesman Road, Alma, MI, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 6-8 P.M.

Torrance was born in Alma, Michigan on July 27, 2006, the daughter Eric W. and Devon E. (Root) Rogers. Tori attended Hillcrest Elementary School, Alma, MI. She was active in AYSO Soccer, and Duhadway Dance Dimensions. She was also active in several Classic Car Shows with her pink remote control power wheels mustang convertible that was custom made for her. She enjoyed riding her bike, and horseback riding with Pep Club in Isabella County, cheerleading, spending time with friends, watching movies, listening to "girl" music, musicals, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Tori's favorite colors were yellow and pink. She loved shopping, always had a smile, was outgoing, social, and loved to teach people. Tori's favorite toys were "brownie", her American Girl doll "Little Tori" and "Sue" and "Lambie Pie" She had been to Shriners Hospital, U of M, Shedd Aquarium, loved bowling and her team name was "hot wheels". She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alma, MI.

She is survived by her parents Eric and Devon Rogers of Alma, MI, 2 brothers; Brendin and Korbin Rogers of Alma, MI, grandparents; Kehl and Terry Root of St. Louis, MI, Bill and Robin Rogers of St. Louis, MI, Liz and Luke Harrison of St. Louis, MI, half brother Tyler Rogers of Midland, MI, David and Lara Root of Kentucky, Kristine and Larry Woodrow of Alma, MI, Ryan Rogers of Alma, MI, great grandparents; Lucille Root of Breckenridge, MI, Phyllis McGillis of St. Louis, MI, Jerry and Donna Rogers of St. Louis, MI, Bernard Feltman of Alma, MI, and many other extended family members. She was predeceased by her brother Keegan Rogers, great grandpa Lawrence McGillis, great grandma Marlene Feltman, great grandpa Andrew Root Sr., and her horse "Rosie".

Memorials may be made to the MSU Extension Office PEP club in Tori's name or to Tori's benefit fund at the Gratiot Community Credit Union in Alma or Ithaca (proceeds donated through the credit union will be spread through several organizations for stem cell research and spinal cord injuries.)
