Tracie Rayelle Fowler Cary, age 38, of Indian River, Michigan died Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Indian River, MI.

In celebration of Tracie's life, a memorial open house will be held at the InBetween Restaurant in Indian River on the afternoon of Saturday February 11, 2012 from 3-7 PM. Private internment for family and friends will take place at a later date.

Tracie was born in Alma, Michigan on November 25, 1973, the daughter of Gail Kline Fowler and Valorie Ann (Daniels). She graduated from St. Louis High School in 1992 and earned her Bachelors Degree in Juvenile Law/Child Psychology with honors from Western Michigan University. Tracie resided most of her life in St. Louis until moving to Indian River in 2004. She was employed with the State of Michigan Dept. of Human Services in Otsego County as a Social Service Specialist and Child Welfare Licensing Worker. Tracie enjoyed everything life had to offer and lived it to the fullest, especially outdoor activities. Her smile always lit up a room and her laugh was contagious. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her dad Gail Fowler of St. Louis, MI, brother Braden Fowler of Ithaca, MI, grandparents Barb and Casper Daniels of Indian River, MI, 2 nieces; Christian Fowler of Ithaca, MI, Tracie and Mitchell Cullinan of Saginaw, MI, great nephew Issac Cullinan, aunts and uncles; Darryl and Pam Fowler, Margaret Fowler, Paula Fowler, Vickie and Gordie Ethridge, Bruce and Joy Daniels, Brook and Dana Daniel, many special cousins, and special friend Mike Booth and his daughters; Lauren and Ellie of Mt. Pleasant, MI. She was preceded in death by her mother Valorie, grandparents Don & Ruth Fowler, and uncles; Ron & Dan Fowler.
